Frankfurt am Main, January 30, 2014 - DEMIRE Deutsche Mittelstand Real
Estate AG ('DEMIRE', ISIN DE000A0XFSF0) announces the completion of the
successful placement of a convertible bond, with a total nominal amount of
EUR 11,300,000.00 pursuant to the resolution passed on December 9, 2013.
As previously announced, by December 30, 2013 a total of 7,279,870
fractional convertible bonds were issued in a nominal amount of EUR
7,279,870.00. After obtaining the consent of the Supervisory Board, the
remaining 4,020,130 fractional convertible bonds have now been subscribed
to and placed within the context of a private placement. As a result, all
11,300,000 fractional convertible bonds have now been placed.
As also previously communicated, portions of the funds raised by the
convertible bond have already been used for the acquisition of an office
property in the Munich area. This acquisition is in line with our new
strategy focussed on making profitable investments on the German real
estate market. The additional proceeds from the current placement will also
be used to enhance our financial strength so that we may continue to
implement the new strategy.
