Publication of an ad hoc announcement pursuant to Section 15 WpHG
DEMIRE successfully concludes commitment in Turkey
Frankfurt/Main, June 26, 2014 - DEMIRE Deutsche Mittelstand Real Estate AG
("DEMIRE", ISIN DE000A0XFSF0) has successfully completed its commitment in
Turkey. Today, DEMIRE has concluded a contract for the sale of its 32.44%
interest in the Luxembourg investment company which holds the Turkish
property.
DEMIRE will receive cash proceeds of a mid-single digit euro million
amount. This transaction will also result in a capital gain to be
recognised in the second quarter (July - September) of the 2014/2015 fiscal
year. In addition, the withdrawal from Turkey will further reduce the
Group's complexity and its ongoing operating costs. Thus, DEMIRE makes
considerable progress with its strategy of focussing on commercial real
estate in Germany. The resulting proceeds will be used to rapidly drive the
continued expansion of the German commercial property portfolio. The focus
remains on properties with attractive returns and positive cash flows from
the outset.
