DEMIRE has success with new rentals in the town of Goslar
Frankfurt/Main, 13. July 2016 – DEMIRE Deutsche Mittelstand Real Estate AG has raised the future annual rent for its property Rosentorstraße 15 in Goslar, Germany, by almost 40 % by concluding several new rental agreements over the last twelve months.
The property, which is designated as a protected landmark, is located in the inner city of Goslar and consists of roughly 4,600 m² of rental space. At the time of its purchase, the vacancy rate stood at 30 %. In the past few months following the property’s renovation, both an educational organisation has become a new tenant and a new lease starting in September 2016 was concluded with Deutsche Bank AG for a period of 10 years. Aside from a small portion of warehouse space, the property is now fully let on a long-term basis.
Markus Drews, member of the DEMIRE Executive Board responsible for the operating business commented: “The example of Goslar proves that our strategy of having in-house asset, property and facility management is unfolding successfully. Having the entire value chain under one roof has not only a direct positive impact on the earnings situation of the entire Group but also supports the appreciation of the properties’ value.”
